Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for May 11-17, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day considering the circumstances.  In our family, I woke up with our little one at 5:40AM (average time) and mom got to sleep in until our oldest woke up at 7:45AM (record late time for her).  We are all looking forward to a time when we can visit family again (and maybe a sleepover so mom and dad wake up naturally for once?)  If you think you deserve a nice relaxing bath after looking after the kids all day (or wherever you work), Epsom Salts are on sale this week!  At least we can’t complain about the weather here.  It was 30 degrees here in BC yesterday which was great to help tire out the kids 🙂  We spent a lot of time playing in the shady streams around the area.  We’ve also had a few backyard campfires lately and I was happy to see the the Harvest Meats BBQ Wieners, hot dog buns, hamburger buns and frozen hambergers were on sale this week.  I do like the Harvest Meats BBQ Wieners as they are individually wrapped which makes freezing leftovers easy!

It looks like the long lines at Costco have shortened significantly.  Today, I showed up at Costco at 9:20AM and I was in the store 6 minutes later at 9:26AM!  They even stocked anti-bacterial hand soap in store $7.99 for 1.89 Litres – no hand sanitizer, yeast or Lysol Wipes.  The garden centre has brought in a whole bunch of fruit trees.  Some of them looked pretty fun like the Combo fruit salad tree!

If you are looking at picking up an air conditioner unit from Costco due to the heat, last year there was a sale at the end of May.  Last year, it started on May 27 for the Danby 14,000 BTU unit.  https://cocowest.ca/2019/05/costco-west-sale-items-for-may-27-2019-june-02-2019-for-bc-alberta-manitoba-saskatchewan/  If you have missed my last two posts on the clothing section or the seasonal aisle, you can save yourself some time in the store and browse those aisles virtually!

Don’t forget that the Costco Executive coupons expire on the 14th of this month.  Lots of people never got mailed the coupons, but if you tell the cashier that one of your products is on sale, they can apply the coupon to the product.  You can see all the coupons here:  https://cocowest.ca/2020/05/costco-executive-coupons-may-1-14/

THE “FOUNDERS” EARLY ACCESS PROMOTION IS BACK!

I wanted to give everyone an update on the redesign of the blog since there has been quite a lot of progress!  We’ve hired our developer & designer and have started work on the project.  We are starting work on the new product search functionality, so you will be able to look up historical pricing and sales.  After that we will be working on the redesign of the blog.  Our goal is to get everything implemented in three months.  I’m excited that this project is finally moving ahead and to see some increased functionality and navigability in the new format.

That being said, if you are looking to help me help support this new website upgrade, I have re-opened the “FOUNDERS” discount for the Early Access to the blog.  The Early Access gives you access to the Monday posts on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday Morning at a cost of $19.97 for one year as well as a new customizable mailing list.  If you decide to purchase an Early Access Membership and use the discount code “FOUNDERS” before 2020-08-31, you will get $10 off your annual membership AND have that rate grandfathered forever!

Sign up for Early Access at the following link:  https://cocowest.ca/register/

Once you have signed up, to get the early pictures, just use your username and password at the following login: http://cocowest.ca/cocologin  Once you are signed in, you will be able to see the pictures as soon as they are published on Monday!

If you don’t sign up for Early Access, no problem!  The blog is still free and will be available to everyone on Tuesday Morning at 5:00AM Pacific time.

  1. Was delighted to see garden center in Port Coquitlam has opened, though I believe the size has been scaled back this year, presumably to accomodate the line to enter the store. Had hoped to buy some of the extra large emerald cedars, but to my dismay the tag on the one on display said that this year there would be a minimum purchase of 30 cedars – a full pallet – Does anyone know if they are available in smaller quantities at any of the other lower mainland Costcos? Also has the size of the garden center been scaled back this year at any of the other stores?

  2. Went to Costco Langley to buy fruit trees as advertised. This weeks prices show $26.99 Went to pay for the trees l picked out and l was charged 39.99. These prices posted are wrong. Not all trees are $26.99, only the Regular Fruit Trees. The Combo trees are $39.99

  3. Can someone tell me why when the 6 pack of Lysol wipes is available online, I cant add it to my cart, I get this message “The item is temporarily unavailable for delivery to postal code (shows my postal code). Inventory frequently changes, please check back later”…..I dont get it.

  4. Thank you for your weekly post! It is sooooo helpful and very much appreciated. I was looking to buy the LED panels and I swear you had a picture of them on sale earlier in the week, but now I see a different LED ceiling fixture, which expired last week. Just wanted to clarify are the LED panels on sale?

  5. Would you be able to show us the TV prices sometime soon? Someone I know needs to buy one and it would help to browse here first. Thank you so much for all you do!!

  6. The director chair listed for 19.97 is stil 34.99 at surrey location. Has anyone been able to find this chair for 19.97?

  7. The LED panels that you have pictured are $79.99 and are not on sale. There may have been a little mix-up in the photograph and signage there. They said the item number was different.

I do appreciate your weekly posts though.

    Thanks.,

  8. Thanks for doing this each week!!! The price on the 4variety fruit trees is $39.99 not $26.99 however. Just a heads up if anyone was wanting.

  9. FYI – the price for the Quantum dishwasher tablets you pictured is wrong (the price tag is for the Jet Dry). The Jet Dry is listed above with the right picture so I am assuming the Quantum is on sale.

  10. Thank you for information
    Thank you always

Does anyone know why Costco doesn’t have beef? Every shelves were empty. Doesn’t they sell beef anymore?

  11. I think the price for the Artika LED light fixture is for the round one fixture next to the flat panel, and not the flat panel shown in the photo. The flat panel is $79.99 and was on sale for ~$59.99 a few weeks ago

  12. theres a mistake on the Quantaum dishwasher pods $8.99 its $22.99 and theres $8 off executive member discount.

  13. So to clarify, the new rate is $19.97 and a founders discount of $10 = $9.97? I paid for the original membership of $29.97…can I please get in on this new deal somehow?? 🙂

    Thanks!

    • 19.97 includes the discount. 29.97 is the non sale price. Click on the top right blue box and click on membership and then login.
