Weekend Update! – Costco Sale Items for Oct 16-18, 2020 for BC, AB, MB, SK

I hope everyone is going well. I just got my flu shot at Costco this morning. I was a little curious how this was going to work because there doesn’t seem to be much room in the store. The flu shot clinic was impossible to miss. They set up in a giant tent next to the food court and there were signs everywhere near the exit directing people where to go. If you schedule an appointment online, you get priority, but they were accepting walk-ins as well and there didn’t seem to be much of a wait.
They even give you a Costco bandage afterwards!
It take a little bit longer to add all the captions, and I have to run. I’ll see you all on Monday!
Anyone else buy the 50 pack of black disposable masks? What a waste of money! We took 10 in our carry on bag for our trip to Mexico, 7 of them broke just putting them on, 1 broke about 2 minutes later, and only one didn’t break. Same problem with each one, the left elastic ear loop came off on the bottom, and no way to re-attach it. When we unpacked the box from our checked luggage we tried the remaining 40, and 27 of the 40 came apart, so out of 50 masks, only 14 were/are useable. Never had this problem with any other masks we have bought, even dollar store ones are better quality.
Do you know when or if Costco ever has sales for king size mattresses? I’ve been on the lookout for a firm, king size mattress but have not seen any in store, only online.
Thanks for the post. I’m curious why you sometimes post items that are selling at regular price such as the water softener in this post. Is it a new model/item that Costco is carrying or am I missing something? Thanks.
Hi Jim, good question! If I see a new item that I haven’t noticed before I add it to the posts. Since some items are seasonal and sell out quickly, I think it is helpful for people in case they see something they want.
just a note – the costco on Brighton is not accepting walk-ins and said you have to book online and there are basically no appointments on line (assuming the booking tool is working properly). I was there yesterday.

Thanks for letting everyone know! In Abbotsford they specifically told me they were accepting walk-ins, but appointments were prioritized.
