Weekend Update – Costco Sale Items for Apr 10-12, 2020 for BC, AB, MB, SK

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

SHOPPING REPORT:

Hi Everyone,

I arrived at Costco this morning at 7:30AM and the line opened up at around 7:40.  I was let into the warehouse at 8:00AM.  By the time I left they were telling people that the line was 2 hours long.  Yikes.

Just a reminder that Costco will be closed on Sunday, April 12, so make sure you head over on Saturday if you have to do some shopping to do for Sunday Dinner.

We’re going to be making an Easter Turkey Dinner over here at our house and my parents will be picking up the food in takeout containers and distributing it to the rest of our family and in-laws.  I bought a Turkey over Christmas for $10.00 and I could really use the extra freezer space right now.  I just really can’t think of another time when I will have a chance to cook a Turkey the way things are looking.

Costco had no sanitizer or Lysol wipes today, but I was able to pick up a couple containers of bleach for cleaning.

Happy Shopping!

  1. Out of curiosity, why do people need to look at these posts to figure out what you need? Don’t you know that by simply looking at what you have?

  2. Hey for two weeks now, I’ve read your posts and decided I did not need anything from Costco so didn’t end up going. Contrary to what some might think, this blog actually stopped me from going to Costco for the past two weeks. I’m sure there are a lot more who are like me. Thank you for these posts and I really appreciate your work.

  3. Does anyone know if PS4 Consoles go on sale other than Boxing Day? My kids decided to pool their money and we finally agreed to allow them.
Cocowest, thank you so much for going out during this pandemic so all of us can stay home and see all the deals online!

  4. Thank you Cocowest! I really appreciate your efforts and agree that you are doing everyone who comes to your site a big service in helping us decide if we should make the trip to Costco and if we go, save us all time instead of wandering the store. I check your site twice a week and it is extremely helpful. Stay safe! Hope you and your family have a nice Easter weekend.

  5. I really appreciate her help. Especially in this pandemic. We rely on your pages. Thanks a lot. please stay safe and healthy.

  6. Big picture thinking. It means the rest of us can browse here and decide not to go add to the 2 hr lineup if there is nothing we need on sale.

  7. If I want to return something before I shop would I now need to line up at returns and then go to the back of the line to re-enter the store to shop? Usually I just return and then cut through the cashiers to start shopping.

    • I just went to return something last week. No you don’t need to go back to the line up. Just let the staff know that you want to continue shopping, and they will let you in.

      • Depends on the staff. I know they were forcing people who wanted returns or food court to go back outside after finishing their business and join the queue when I went 2 weeks ago.
They had an employee near me to make sure I didn’t enter the main section of the store as she escorted me in and out.

  8. Has anyone noticed if Costco has the “electric” pressure washers in the warehouse yet? I believe they had a “Karcher” electric one in last year. Thanks

  9. Thanks so much for all your hard work with these posts. As seniors, it’s important that we limit our visits to Costco during this difficult time and this website really helps us out. Happy Easter!

  10. Thank you again for doing all this! It saves me from walking around the whole store looking for deals. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

  11. When will the moto g7 go on sale next.??? The phone that is 199.99… it usually goes on sale for 149.99… I’m wondering if u know if that is coming up soon…

  12. These posts are more helpful now more than ever! Thank you for helping us all plan our shopping trips because we all know everyone is not going as often as usual.

  13. @Jag

Please get real. Nobody can deny the PAID and free service provided by Cocowest is useful. Cocowest is a HE and HE is financially rewarded for giving us updates. To put it another way, what he’s doing here forms part of his earnings. It’s not rocket science to figure out.

Reading many of these posts, many with rude overtones, I must say everyone get outside, practice social distancing and exercise your brain cells so you can chill-out and comprehend what people are saying. Cocowest never once said he was in line for 2 hours. Based on his comment, he was in line for no more than 30 minutes.

As previously mentioned. I do agree Cocowest should prioritize his family first. And as always, we all thank you for the update. However, your family should your primary concern and please do not venture out to Costco more than once a week at this time. The risk is simply not worth it.

  14. Thank you for what you do.

I avoide the store when there is nothing I need on sale. Forget the haters your helping lots of us Avoid costco during these difficult times

  15. I love all the effort you put into these posts, but I really think for the safety of your family and everyone else, standing in 2 hours line ups, that maybe you should consider putting this page on hiatus for a bit. Essential groceries are ALL that are needed right now, and a store like Costco has so many temptations, that the few people that are permitted in, may be taking way too long in the store, which is causing longer line ups. We also need to be considerate of the risk that the public is putting the employees in. I get tempted to go every time I read your post, and see some of the great deals, but then I am reminded by our health officials to stay home.

  16. I really rely on this page so that I can get my husband to pick up what we need As I have been Laid up for many months. This is the only way we can shop and get what we need when its available and on sale. I appreciate the work put into this app very much.

  17. Really … it is better to have a page like this with everything listed than for people to go in and wander every aisle to see what is marked down or not – and people will do this regardless of how many are in the lineup – is a big help though if you are waiting for something to go on sale .. you don’t always see everything every time we are in the store and I certainly appreciate all the work that is put into this page!

  18. I fully appreciate your efforts. However, I am wondering, as you say, the line was over 2 hours wait when you left, if continuing to do these updates is really worthwhile in the current pandemic? I would rather you get what you need and leave so the next person can come into the store.

    • Really bud. She’s doing us all a huge favour. Risking her own health. It gives us a chance to see what’s on special and decide if we really want to go or not. I think you need to apologize for your comment

    • I have to agree. No one appreciates these posts more than I however with the line ups is it the most prudent thing to do?

    • If you think about it he is helping all of us to see if it’s necessary to go to Costco this week. So the time he spent there is one person which prevent many of us to go to Costco at all. And if we do decide to go it saves so many of us the time to walk around and find out what’s on sale which will shorten our trips and our time and our chances of exposure which will allow the next person to come in the store quicker.

I really really appreciate what you’re doing here cocowest!! Please stay safe!!!
