Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Dec 2-8 2019 for BC, AB, SK, MB

Hi Everyone!

I think I’m ready to take a little 3 day break from heading to Costco.  My wallet will be much happier too.  The tap function actually just stopped working on my Capital One Costco MasterCard so maybe that is a sign?  This was a bit of a carryover week from Black Friday and there are 198 sales items on this post!  Unfortunately, you will have to look at the expiry dates of the items because they seem to be all over the place.  Most of them end on Sunday but quite a few end throughout the week so if there is something you want, make sure to get into the store before your items goes back to regular price.

This week I got away with some stewing beef and some whole fryer chickens that I will put in the freezer.  If you are looking to make some winter soups and stews this is a good week to get into Costco!  The Instapot is still on sale this week which can help you step up your soup and stew game.  A friendly shopper convinced me to pick up some Kirkland Applewood Smoked Master Carve Ham.  Since my daughter loves ham, I couldn’t turn this down – it looks delicious!

Black Diamond Marble Cheese Strings are on sale this week, but the sale price ends on Thursday.  If you have anyone prone to coughing maybe a Homedics Humidifier is in your future.  Natrel Salted Butter, Rodelle Organic Cocoa Powder, Ocean Spray Craisins, Island Farms Sour Cream can help with your winter baking.

Hopefully I don’t have to go to Costco between now and Thursday. 🙂  I could use a bit of a break.  Wednesday, I’ll be posting the entire Toy Section, Automotive and Winter Seasonal Gear so I’ll see you then!

  1. Great to see the Himalayan Salt grinder with refill on sale.

    I wanted to try it but did not want to commit to buying the 2kg size (to get the better price per unit of course).
    The 737 gram “starter size” is a great way to try it out.

    Anyone have feedback on himalayan salt ?

  2. In-store, I saw the Conair Testerossa 1875W AC Hair Dryer, Item 416703, on sale.
    Reg $30 less $10 instant discount.

    Any feedback or reviews on the Conair Testerossa 1875W AC Dryer ?

    A few online reviews say it works great for the first year and then it starts to fail.

  3. I was just at the Costco in Richmond. Beef tenderloin was $7 off per package! Many packages were in the $60+ range, I found a couple packages in the $41 range. I didn’t see this in your blog, maybe I missed it…

  8. Thanks for all your hard work! Btw, there are 2 Gouda cheeses on sale this week and both are $9.99, but one of them, as noted in the photo above is over 900 grams! Great deal!! I bought this one and can’t wait to try it. The other one is only 500 grams… same price.

      • Just an FYI on the display boxes, they don’t match what they have in stock. Found out first hand at the Coquitlam location.

        They have like 50 boxes on display but only 4 in stock

  16. Thanks so much for all your work!!!! I always check your blog before shopping at Costco.
    I can’t believe it…I just bought “The Comfy” on our national shopping channel. The price was much higher than what Costco has it for…and I paid for shipping! It’s going back to our national shopping channel and I’ll buy it at Costco (even though I lose the price of shipping, it’s still less $ at Costco). WISH I had seen it at Costco before I bought it!!!

  19. Bahahaha! Boots buddy… Your moustache ratted you out!!
    Those mastercarve hams are awesome! No waste. Boneless, very little fat and not processed textured like some ham “roasts” are. They’re a great size for a small family because you’re not overwhelmed with leftovers. I throw mine in with a brown sugar and yellow mustard glaze for about 45 minutes. You could add cloves, ginger or cumin if you want but I usually dont.

  25. Alberta locations never seem to have the Silani 100% milk mozzarella. Which sucks Christmas balls lol because that is a great price – $7.99 for 1 kg?!?

    • We bought it ONCE, it was awful! It wouldn’t shred or slice it was like a gooey, soft mess. I ended up tossing it. I couldn’t use it on anything.

      • This brand is really yuck, as noted above, really soft (sticky, gross) I have some in the fridge right now that I bought again because the price was so good, but thanks for reminding me, I will return (in this case it is unopened). I wish Costco would come up with a good replacement mozza for this brand… also, don’t forget, you can return, even if you’ve opened it….

  30. Thank you as always. I realized when I was on the website this weekend that Costco was still selling Huawei phones. Very surprised that Costco would continue to support this company, given the security issues and the arrest of some Canadians. I realize that this is a savings blog but we can also shop according to our values.
