Thursday Update – Costco Sale Items for Jan 23-26, 2020 for BC, AB, MB, SK

Location: Langley Costco

Hi Everyone!

There were quite a few clearance items on sale this Thursday including snowshoes – I guess they don’t think it will snow anymore here in BC.  If you are headed somewhere down south and need some swimsuits or sunscreen, make sure you pick some up at your local Costco.  I’m sure it will save you some money and time as opposed to trying to find some (unless there is a Costco down there)

There were quite a few clothing items that were on sale today that I did not see on Monday and I also took some pictures of new products that I have not seen before.  It seems like there have been quite a few new food items that have been brought in lately!

Happy Shopping!

  1. Sorry if someone has already pointed this out, but I’ve learned that clicking the link in the email that is sent out for non-member access doesn’t work (even when it’s supposed to be accessible to the public). I have to remove the part of the url that starts with “?utm_source=feedburner…”. It would also work to go directly to cocowest.ca.

Thanks for your hard work, it’s much appreciated.

  2. I just wanted to give a THANK YOU to Tynan and his brother for making this website possible. I have been a long time subscriber to this blog, and although I choose to visit this site as a free patron, I appreciate the fact that without paying members, there would be no new developments to the website, no additional weekly posts and no incentive for Tynan to improve anything. I think a lot of people don’t understand that a “simple” visit to Costco would be 2 hours including travel time AT THE MINIMUM! I could imagine that Tynan would want to spend that time with his family instead. As a free user, there is NO WAY i will EVER complain about this blog. I will only express my gratitude. THANK YOU TYNAN!

  3. Hi,
Thanks for your hard work, but most of the prices for Alberta (Calgary) are off when I go check for them on the Costco website. Only a few match the prices displayed here. I know you concentrated more around B.C Costcos, but is there anything that I am doing wrong?

    • Hi Nadira, thanks for visiting your blog. The prices at Costco.ca are always higher than in store because shipping is included in the online prices. Most of these prices I publish will be consistent within Western Canada warehouses (Cash & Carry prices)

    • Costco website has shipping built into their prices so they will likely never match the warehouse price. Warehouse prices should be lower than what is listed online.

  4. I just wanted to point out that there are no Pulse Aloha Spa shower systems at the Kelowna, BC Costco. This makes me think only a few (if any others) actually have the system. I can’t even find that on their website. If I am mistaken here somewhere, please let me know!!

    • Hi Kasey! Any item that ends in .97 is a clearance item and it may not be available at every store at that price. I include these items in the sales posts because clearance prices offer great value!

  5. I also had a problem when I first signed up and it was because I thought it would just come up automatically like the Tues post for everyone. Once Tynan told me the system is not set up like that yet, if I want to see it on Monday I log in at cocowest.ca/cocologin/enter my email address and password and there is never a problem. Helps with the frustration.

    • Hi Wendy, this is my Thursday Update, which was posted a couple of minutes before your comment on 2020-01-23 and is currently available to members only. This post will be available to the public on 2020-01-24 at 05:00. On top of my Monday post, I also go to the store on Thursdays and Saturdays as there are new sales items added on these days as well! Additionally on Wednesdays, I try to post a section of the store with pictures and prices to show what is in store. The Monday Post from Jan 20-26, 2020 can be found at the following URL: https://cocowest.ca/2020/01/costco-flyer-costco-sale-items-for-jan-20-26-2020-for-bc-ab-sk-mb/

      • Wow! I’m really shocked at the insensitive, self-entitled nature of this post. Tynan provides a great service for everyone, and I’m sure most people would agree that he goes above and beyond: thank you Tynan! Wendy, you do realize that he doesn’t have to do this, right? Be appreciative for what he does, and give the man a break. Tynan, please know that there are many of us that appreciate what you do each and every week. It’s too bad that some people will always be unappreciative jerks.

        • Thank you Manny for saying what I was thinking. I was gobsmacked! Perhaps if enough people sprinkle some grace on Wendy it will eventually sink in and she can do the same.

          • Wendy: you are rude & self entitled. He doesn’t have to do this. Keep your rude comment to yourself.

        • I was literally going to scroll up to leave a compliment for the person who puts all the time and effort into doing this for us multiple times a week. For free. It’s at no cost to us, we get a pretty decent benefit from this persons selflessness. I’ve saved a ton by coming here every week, and I want to ensure he knows I really appreciate his hard work every week. Then I read this ignorant entitled comment.
To the person who thinks it’s okay to berate one who takes so much time to do this without pay, it’s not okay. It’s rude. Learn appreciation. It gets you farther in life than being a demanding, entitled jerk.

    • You need to apologize for your comment. Costco doesn’t pay this person to give you this service – be grateful for all the time he spends compiling all the sales for our benefit. It’s a full time job for him.

    • Oh Wendy! You’re so precious! I sure hope you don’t break a leg when you get thrown from your high horse. I can only imagine how much of a nightmare you’d be to deal with in a hospital setting…or anywhere for that matter.

Anyway, Cocowest! I clicked on the update link thinking it was the main post and thought “interesting, usually there’s more. Oh well! Thank goodness I can cross possible Costco run off my list tomorrow!” And then I realized I clicked the wrong area and went to the original post.

So Costco run is back on the list…on a saturday… shedding a few tears….anyone know when Costco is going to start selling wine? Wine in a box (adult juice boxes). I need liquid encouragement. I’ll bring my own straw.

Ps. Thank you for all the time, effort, and efficiency you put into your posts. It’s because of your brilliant idea, I’m able to find the time and effort to go to Costco. Don’t let a few keyboard trolls ever dull your smile!
