Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Dec 30, 2019 – Jan 5, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Location: Port Coquitlam Costco
Hi Everyone!
Just reporting in for the last Costco post for the decade! Any of the Costco’s I have been to have certainly died down from their peak before Christmas – unless you are looking to do returns. If you are doing returns, I’d suggest waiting a week or two because the lines are crazy.
I noticed that the Adult and Kids Contigo water bottles are back in stock. They haven’t been in stock for a while so it is nice to see these back in the store. A lot of the sales this week look like they end on January 31, 2019 so please make sure to check the expiry dates of any products that you see that may interest you.
This is the best time of the year to buy Duracell Batteries and Ziplock bags and containers as they are all on sale this week. For those interested in Kaisay Whey Protein Powder, I would expect that it will go on sale next week. Costco will be getting rid of its seasonal Christmas and toy inventory and getting in furniture and exercise equipment over the next couple weeks.
Wednesday’s Seasonal post will be the Clothing, Shoes and Undergarments section. There are a few new items there and I always get asked to post this section more frequently.
Happy Shopping
BC Holiday Hours (for stores that open at 9:00AM) If someone takes a picture of the other provinces, I will post it!)
Looks like the Contigo adult 3-pack water bottles are not in the Crossiron AB Costco as of yet. I’m excited as those are fantastic bottles that I’ve only ever come across in the US.
Also, thank you for your dedication to this blog. The time and effort you put in to driving to Costco multiple times a week and compile each post is not lost on me. Appreciate your efforts!
I became a follower about 3 years into your endeavour if this is your 10th anniversary. Kudos! That is dedication and pure love. For those negative comments out there about the subscription he battles traffic to get to each Costco ( and visits different ones), battles the crazies IN Costco and battles the lines afterwards cuz who can’t resist buying something. Even if you only buy a few sale items a month that is the subscription cost. AND the information is STILL free! Just the next day. How hardcore are you that you’re upset you get the info a bit later?!
Nice. I am quite surprised at all the discounts this week! Not that I need much of what’s on “sale” but I suppose this is normal for the end of the year.
Thanks for what you’re doing and have done for a long time on a fan basis! Clicked on some ads for you and will continue looking forward to your posts. Much appreciate your time and efforts, Happy New Year!
I don’t get why anyone would pay to see sales early. Just go later it’s not like anything is going to sell out. Aren’t we all here to try and ace money and not spend more
Agreed and that’s the reason for this fan blog. Why people are willing to pay a fee…and ask to disable the advertisements when these are the attached benefits from posting the sales as her part time job although I agree she does a good job on it.
I think (a) business owners, (b) people who go Costco on Mondays, (c) people who want to support this website financially, and (d) those who would like to have search functionality might sign up. That said, I’m neither of those categories
Happy New Year to you and yours. Thank you you for all you do. I look forward to your posts. You have saved me time and money and I really appreciate your efforts.
Thank you

I would pay the premium if ads were blocked for premium members, and if the sales items were CORRECT for Manitooba…alot of times the items in this blog are not on sale here, or are different. Have gone to store many times looking for items that are not on sale or not avail here at our stores in Manitoba. I do appreciate the blog, but it would have to be more accurate before paying yet another fee, on top of the Costco membership already. Perhaps Costco should wake up and start posting their own sales, if they want to move product.
…you know, yiu could just call a warehouse, give them the item number and they’ll check which locations has your product. No need to drive around LOL. The item number is on the sign – upper left hand corner
The person who produces this listing lives in BC. He gets his information by walking through one of the stores there. He has no way of verifying the information in all of the other BC stores let alone the ones in Alta, Sask and Man. In theory the stock in all the western stores is identical but in reality local management has some say in what they carry or don’t carry. in each store. Not all the stores are the same size and local preferences for certain categories may influence what a store carries. Costco does not post their sales because they DO NOT want you to know what is on sale. They want you to come ton the store to find out. This is a marketing gimmick that they use. I’m amazed that so many people still don’t understand this.
Not all the posted sale items are on sale in all locations in BC either. Very often the meat isn’t on sale at the location I shop at. There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the blog stating the sales are based on one store.
I also would like to know about this. My method has always been to re-buy item when on discount, then use the old receipt to process refund afterwards. Two issues with my method: Cumbersome as I had to
You can just bring receipt and they will refund the difference as long as item still in stock. I just carry my receipts with me when I go. Much easier then buying and returning
Simply take your receipt to customer service and they will refund you the difference. They can even do it without the receipt but they prefer to have the receipt. I always carry my receipts for at least a month so I can get the adjustment.
I always clicked on the ads as I thought that’s how you got paid. I’m not willing to pay an annual membership for this post. I must have missed something as this came as a surprise to me.
Right now, there is no way of disabling the advertisements for paid members. This function is beyond what the membership programming can do. I am looking at this option when the website is being redeveloped!
I think redesigning a once a week post would be beneficial, but I would not want more than one email per week. I do think given the # of subscribers the fee is high, even with a discount. There have been ads on the blog for awhile and I thought some revenue came to you from those. Is this not the case? How come they are included in the blog? I think Costco should partner with you since I’m sure you increase their revenue, rather than already paid members. Or add the blog to a membership for another $10 annually and split the fee with them. . I think there are viable alternatives. I’m keeping the free option once a week. My name is Marian E.
Good suggestions but google ads only pay a penny or so on clicked ads. Yes you have to physically click it in order for coco west to see a penny. I hope you are clicking lots to compensate for his time driving to Costco, find parking, and then scour each aisle for the items just for you. Then drive home and upload these high resolution pics. This all while you sit on your lazy ass complaining.
Costco does not want anything to do with him. They already have a powerful marketing team that purposely hides these sales so you go to the store physically and search for them. While you search for these specials they hope you buy other unintended items.
Think before suggesting something stupid that is already the obvious. If it was that easy then everyone would have done it by now.
DC just because someone asks questions or makes suggestions, doesn’t give you the right to judge or be rude. You called someone else that you don’t even know a lazy ass, and stupid. Seriously? Says more about you than her!

Good morning and thank you
Manitoba does not have even half of the items you post n your blog discounted . Don’t know if ab. And ask do but sure not worth paying any fee

5 am Pacific of which day? Wednesday?
There should always be a post Available on Tuesday at 5:00AM that shows the deals for the week.
Weird. I could not view anything until I posted a comment.

Hello,
Think I read on your blog that if item goes on sale, can obtain refund within one month for the difference?
I also would like to know about this. My method has always been to re-buy item when on discount, then use the old receipt to process refund afterwards. Two issues with my method: Cumbersome as I had to
1. carry items around
2. not going to return perishables
You can just bring receipt and they will refund the difference as long as item still in stock. I just carry my receipts with me when I go. Much easier then buying and returning

Thank you for all your posts. Happy New Year to you, your family and Boots! I didn’t get the membership, but I clicked on some ads for you 🙂
Thanks

Yea. I think a fun volunteer just go to Costco on a Monday and post that night. Has turned into daily trips and mega post full time job.
I signed up, paid for early access and have never been able to get it. Why does it not work.

Is the early access fee disabling the advertisements, or are they still going be there for paid members?

I think you could have been a lot gentler in your reply – rather rude
